Perry, GA – Motorcyclist Killed in Accident with Tractor-Trailer
Perry, Georgia (June 26, 2023) – A man was killed in an accident on I-75 South in Houston County early Sunday morning.
The Georgia State Patrol responded to a crash on I-75 South around 12:27 a.m. on Sunday, where they found an accident involving a Harley-Davidson motorcycle, a Jeep Compass, and a semi-tractor trailer.
Witness statements and roadside evidence assisted troopers in determining that the motorcycle was traveling at a high rate of speed when the driver lost control and laid the motorcycle on its side.
According to reports, the motorcycle continued to slide for several hundred feet before coming to a stop, where an unknown tractor-trailer struck the motorcyclist. The tractor-trailer did not stop and continued driving south.
A Jeep Compass then struck the motorcyclist and pulled over to the side of the road.
