Cobb County, Georgia (April 18, 2023) – At least two people were killed in a crash on Interstate 75 in Cobb County on Tuesday morning.
The Marietta Police Department confirmed a fatal crash occurred around 5:15 a.m. on the northbound lanes of I-75 at Delk Road.
The accident began when a car stalled on the interstate, according to the Georgia Department of Transportation. Authorities said the passengers got out of the car and were hit by another vehicle. Following the fatal collision, the second vehicle was also involved in another accident.
At least five vehicles were involved in the accident. According to police, at least two people have died.
