I met with Harry Brown personally and he sat with me for 20 minutes at our initial consultation to explain everything. He even called after my surgery to see how I was doing. I met with him several more times after that and was kept informed about my case throughout. I highly recommend Harry Brown as an attorney.
Pedestrian Accidents in Georgia
Accidents involving pedestrians are extremely dangerous. They are usually more serious than other types of accidents because a car can cause significant damage to an unprotected person even at a slow speed. This increases the likelihood of pedestrian fatalities. Almost every pedestrian accident results in injuries, and a significant number of them result in wrongful death.
Pedestrian accidents are investigated and handled in the same way that car accidents are. Accident victims and their families are legally entitled to seek monetary compensation for any losses suffered as a direct result of the accident.
Despite typically having the right of way, pedestrians are occasionally held accountable for accidents. Pedestrians who cross the street illegally, unexpectedly, and without warning may be partially or entirely to blame, even if they suffer severe injuries as a result of the collision.
If the pedestrian caused the collision, the driver of the car may be entitled to compensation for costs incurred as a result of the accident, such as the cost of having the car repaired.
When a vehicle strikes a pedestrian, it is usually determined that the driver was at least partially to blame. This is because it is the responsibility of motorists to keep an eye out for pedestrians.
