Etowah County, AL (August 18, 2023) – The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Highway Patrol Division reported that a man from Pooler, Georgia, passed away in a single-vehicle collision on Interstate 59 in Etowah County on Tuesday afternoon.
According to a press release from ALEA, the 2007 Volvo tractor-trailer driver, Kester Bruton, 70, was operating off the interstate near the 188-mile marker, about 5 miles north of Attalla, hit a tree, and caught fire. He was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
I met with Harry Brown personally and he sat with me for 20 minutes at our initial consultation to explain everything. He even called after my surgery to see how I was doing. I met with him several more times after that and was kept informed about my case throughout. I highly recommend Harry Brown as an attorney.

Truck accidents can be difficult to comprehend. Drivers, trucking companies, the company that loaded the freight, and truck or tire manufacturers could all potentially be liable for the accident. Did the driver of a truck fall asleep, or did the steering fail when it veered into your lane? Was the driver exhausted from drugs, alcohol, or working too many hours? Is it possible that a truck part failed due to a flaw in its design or because it was not properly maintained?
When there could be multiple parties at fault, how do you calculate how much the accident will cost you in future medical bills and lost wages?
