Fulton County, Georgia (August 17, 2023) – According to troopers, three people were killed, and several others were injured in a head-on collision with a public transit bus in Georgia.
Georgia State Patrol authorities were called about a three-vehicle crash in south Fulton County around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday, August 8th.
According to investigators, a Ford F-150 was driving north on Stonewall Tell Road, approaching the intersection with South Fulton Parkway, when it collided with the back passenger side of a sedan attempting to turn left.
The truck then careened into the path of a Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority bus, striking it head-on.
According to the report, three people inside the F-150 died at the scene.
Their identities were not released by authorities.
Investigators said that the driver of the F-150 “disregarded a traffic control device” before the fatal crash.
Three other passengers in the truck were taken to a hospital with serious injuries. The MARTA bus driver was also seriously injured. There were no other passengers on board.
According to the report, the driver of the black sedan fled before authorities arrived.
The crash is still being investigated.
I met with Harry Brown personally and he sat with me for 20 minutes at our initial consultation to explain everything. He even called after my surgery to see how I was doing. I met with him several more times after that and was kept informed about my case throughout. I highly recommend Harry Brown as an attorney.
