Macon, GA – Moped Driver Struck and Killed in Hit-and-Run Accident
Macon, Georgia (May 3, 2023) – On Tuesday night, a woman was killed in a hit-and-run accident. According to the Bibb County Coroner, the incident occurred in the Shoppes at River Crossing on Riverside Drive.
The victim, a 48-year-old woman, was hit while riding a moped in the Belk parking lot around 9 p.m.
On the way to the hospital, the woman died in the ambulance.
The driver of the Toyota Tacoma that hit the woman fled the scene. Deputies are currently looking for the hit-and-run driver.
