I met with Harry Brown personally and he sat with me for 20 minutes at our initial consultation to explain everything. He even called after my surgery to see how I was doing. I met with him several more times after that and was kept informed about my case throughout. I highly recommend Harry Brown as an attorney.
Single Car Accidents
A single-car accident occurs when there is only one driver involved. Normally in a single-car accident, the vehicle collides with another object or is forced off the road.
Even though another vehicle is not involved in a single-car accident, it can still be very serious and even deadly.
Single-vehicle collisions present various legal difficulties. Even though only one vehicle is involved, it is still not always clear who is at fault for the accident.
There is a possibility that the accident occurred due to someone else’s negligence. For example:
-A defect in the road could cause a driver to lose control of their vehicle, which could lead to an accident. Potholes, seams, and building debris that have been left on the road are examples of defects. The person or entity that was responsible for the road problem may also be held accountable for the single-car accident.
-Even if another car was not involved in the collision, it is still possible that another driver was at fault. A vehicle could be forced off the road if the other driver is driving recklessly. Even though the vehicles may not have collided, the other driver could be responsible for the crash.
-Car parts that aren’t working properly might make a vehicle dangerous to drive. Problems with a vehicle’s brakes, steering columns, tires, wipers, and airbags can put the driver in a potentially life-threatening situation. When people’s automobiles do not function as they are supposed to, it may result in serious injury.
These are just some of the reasons why it may not always be the driver’s fault when a single-car accident occurs.
